I know I just said I had no intention to complete this piece. I still don't. I just figured that I should do most of the old pieces I have in WIP stages now as the way I work has changed dramatically since starting these.
So this is in no way something great and splendid, nor necessarily something I'm proud of. It's just a painting.
I appreciate all the cronstructive critisism I have received during the process. With this piece I've actually received the best crits ever. I humbly thank you all and apologise for not being worthy of your input.
Of the piece itself, with the bg and the halter with glowy bits I tried to set a mood and stell a story of a moment in which the chains of past are starting to imprison. But currently I'm not entirely sure if it symbolises the creating of the chains or breaking them. I'll let you decide.

I still like this painting on some level and that is why I might revisit the theme on some later point. The sketch, which you can find in my Scraps, is still more to my liking than this "final" painting.
